Do you charge a travel fee?

No! We will never ask you to pay a travel fee.

What is your deposit to reserve a package?

We require a 50% deposit with the balance due one (2) weeks before your event.

Can we split up the hours?

No, sorry! It's industry standard that the hours are continous. We will remain on site for the duration of the hours in your package.

What if I need more time?

That's not a problem. Our overtime fee is $175 per additional hour. We will juist send you an invoice to your email to pay for any additional hours.

What does professional sound mean?

On the day of your wedding, we will mic up either the groom or officiant with a wireless mic to capture audio from the ceremony. We also have mics set up on our cameras and an H4N recorder through the DJ. We also make sure we have multiple audio sources so we can choose the best one to work with.

What do you consider your filming style to be?

We shoot to edit. We do not over shoot. When we go into a wedding, we know exactly what we need to film. We tend to lean on the cinematic side of filming.

What is your turnaround time for editing our film?

We have two in-house editors and that's all they do form 9 AM to 5PM during the week. So, after we film your wedding, it goes to one of our editors who starts putting the footage together. Our average turnaround time is 5 days. It can tend to be little longer if we are in the middle of peak wedding season.

What does digital delivery mean?

When we are finished editing your film, we will send you a link to your email to view and download your film. You can save it to any device. We also save all of our weddings on our in-house server so it will be stored in case you ever need it.

What kind of cameras do you use?

We typically use the latest gear. Right now we are shooting with Canon cameras that are capable of shooting 4k and 1080P resolution. We typically film at 30 FPS.

Do you have back up equipment?

Yes, we bring two of everything in case we need it. Cameras, batteries tripod, lights, lenses, etc.

How do we get the raw footage?

Everything is sent by digital delivery. We will email you a link so you can view or download the raw footage.

What does raw footage mean?

Raw footage is footage that is straight out of the camera. It's uncut and unedited.

Does MDRN Film Company have liability insurance?

Yes, we have a 2 million dollar liability insurance policy. If your venue needs a copy of it or needs to be added as an additioanl insured, just let us know and we will be more than happy to accomodate that request.
